What are your hours?
Sunday through Thursday, 10am to 9pm. Friday and Saturday, 10am to 10pm. Holiday hours can change, so give us a call at (858) 737-8575 if you're planning a visit on a holiday.
Is there parking at Boba Religion?
Yes. Free parking is available right at our Clairemont Mesa location, so you can stop in without circling the block.
Do you have Wi-Fi? Can I study or work there?

What makes Boba Religion different from other boba shops in San Diego?
Two things: the ingredients and the space. Our tea is sourced directly from Bao Loc in Vietnam's Central Highlands, our honey is organic from the Phuoc Son coast, and we never use powders or artificial flavors. Is your boba tea organic?
Our drinks are built on organic, real ingredients: tea sourced directly from Bao Loc, Vietnam, organic honey from the Phuoc Son District, and fresh, house-made components. No powders, no artificial flavors. Learn how to spot the difference in organic boba vs. powder-based boba.
Where does your tea come from?
Our tea leaves come directly from Bao Loc in the Central Highlands of Vietnam, one of the country's best-known tea regions. Sourcing direct lets us control freshness and flavor from the leaf to your cup.
Do you use powdered mixes?
No. Every milk tea, fruit tea and matcha latte is made from brewed tea and real ingredients, never from powdered bases.
What kind of matcha do you use?
Stone-ground, ceremonial-grade matcha, paired with organic oat milk and house-made syrups. Our guide to ceremonial-grade matcha in San Diego explains why that matters.
What are your most popular drinks?
Customer favorites are the Heavenly Dragon (brown sugar with cheese foam), the Oreo Matcha (blended matcha with Oreo, creme brulee and matcha jelly) and the Lucy Lou (jasmine and oolong). See them all on the menu.
What toppings do you offer?
Classic boba, crystal boba, coconut jelly, grass jelly, matcha jelly, creme brulee, barley, water chestnut, popping boba (lychee, mango and strawberry), plus cheese foam, matcha foam, sesame foam and U Bae foam.
Do you serve coffee or food?

How much does a boba drink cost?
Most drinks run about $5.75 to $8.75, and toppings start at $0.80. Prices can change, so check the current menu for exact pricing.
Dietary Needs & Customizing Your Drink

Can I adjust the sweetness and ice level?
Yes. You choose your sweetness level, from 0% (no added sugar) up to 100%, and your ice level when you order. 50% sweet is a popular middle ground if you're not sure.
Do you have dairy-free or vegan boba?
Yes. Milk teas can be made with oat milk or almond milk (+$1.00), and our matcha lattes already use an oat milk base. A few toppings and foams, like cheese foam and creme brulee, contain dairy, and some drinks are sweetened with organic honey, so tell your barista you're ordering dairy-free or vegan and we'll steer you right.
Are your matcha lattes dairy-free?
Our matcha lattes are made on an oat milk base. Specialty versions with foams or creme brulee, like the Cheesy Oreo Matcha, include dairy toppings, so skip those or ask for them without the foam.
Do you have caffeine-free drinks?
Yes. Our ice blends, like the Strawberry Smoothie, Mango Yogurt and Avocado Smoothie, are great caffeine-free picks. Since most of our milk teas and all of our matcha and coffee drinks contain caffeine, ask your barista to confirm for any specific drink.
Which drinks have the most caffeine?
Coffee and matcha drinks lead the pack. The Double Matcha and our Vietnamese coffee drinks are the strongest options on the menu. Tea-based milk teas land in the middle.
Can you accommodate food allergies?
Please tell us about any allergy before you order. Our kitchen handles dairy, tree nuts (almond milk), gluten (Oreo) and other common allergens, so we can't guarantee any drink is allergen-free, but we'll help you pick the safest option.

Yes. Order through Clover online ordering, DoorDash or Grubhub. All three links are on our Order Online page.
Do you deliver in San Diego?
Yes, delivery is available through DoorDash and Grubhub. Each app shows whether your address is in range. Start your order from the Order Online page.
Can I call ahead for pickup?
Absolutely. Call (858) 737-8575 to place a pickup order, and we'll have it ready when you arrive.
Can I customize my drink when ordering online?
Customization options depend on the ordering platform. If you don't see the sweetness, ice or milk option you want, add a note to your order or call us and we'll take care of it.

How do I place a catering or large order?

How far in advance should I order catering?
The more notice, the better, especially for big groups or weekend events. Contact us with your date and we'll confirm lead time, minimums and pricing for your order.
Can you help me choose drinks for a group?
Yes. For mixed crowds we suggest a blend of crowd-pleasers like brown sugar milk tea and Thai milk tea, a couple of matcha lattes, and a caffeine-free fruit or smoothie option. Browse the menu for ideas.
